DIY kit: 65 gal

DIY kit: 65 gal

$84.98

Build your own Rain Bench® that holds 65 gallons of water, and 2 people.

(the water in, the people on)

The actual capacity of the liner that is included is up to 140 gallons, which means if you simply build a bigger box, it will expand to the size (maximum 32″L x 32″W x32″h) and hold a ton of water.

Ok, it will only hold 1,120 lbs, or a little over half ton of water if built to max capacity.

That’s a lot of water. (Tip: If you want to put one on your deck, make sure it was built to hold a hot tub. We recommend setting it on a level bed of permeable gravel instead)

Description

Save Water, Just by Sitting There.

The RainBench® DIY Kit is a rainwater harvesting system for someone with basic carpentry skills.  Save $ on shipping.  You supply the lumber and labor to build a bench that acts like a rain barrel with 65 gallon capacity. Buy lumber & hardware locally (usually ~30-40)
