    DIY kit: 140g Cedar

Original price was: $109.99.Current price is: $89.99.
This Woodward or Cedar Panel RainBench DIY Kit is for someone with basic DIY carpentry and plumbing skills.  Save cash on shipping so you can go on that vacation you deserve.  Buy lumber & hardware locally to support Hank down the road, (and for the cedar panel, show Home Depot a lil love)

or better yet, use recycled construction waste and blow everyone's mind with how ridiculously environmentally conscious and brilliant you are.

you could throw a flat 4'x 4' piece on top and make it into a rain dining patio table -  See? I told you their minds will be blown.

Materials purchased separately: This will vary depending on the kit, but there is a detailed shopping list with estimated pricing (varies by region) included in each set of plans. The Cedar Panel will end up costing more because they are pre-made panels and, well, even though it is "free shipping" from homedepot.com, you are still paying more for shipping (they just include it in the price)...

And hey, this is all made by one of your neighbors in the USA, so that's nice.

Fittings Pack, 3 liner rain bench (300/ 420 gallon DIY)

Original price was: $189.95.Current price is: $149.50.
A pack of specialty fittings, adapters, reducers, and flexible tubing that connects 3 liners together inside a Rain Bench.™   This pack allows simple connection to an existing diverter, to fill your bench up with rainwater, and at the other end to a garden hose or pump, to use your harvested rainwater.
  • Build your own Rain Bench® that holds 65 gallons of water, and 2 people.

(the water in, the people on) The actual capacity of the liner that is included is up to 140 gallons, which means if you simply build a bigger box, it will expand to the size (maximum 32"L x 32"W x32"h) and hold a ton of water.

Ok, it will only hold 1,120 lbs, or a little over half ton of water if built to max capacity.

That's a lot of water. (Tip: If you want to put one on your deck, make sure it was built to hold a hot tub. We recommend setting it on a level bed of permeable gravel instead)

Two layers of 4 mil plastic liner. Two threaded PVC fittings. 140 gallons of rainwater.WoodwardBench You could fill it up and jump on it, but we recommend using it inside a bench like this (plans available in the 140gal DIY kit). btw Scott is 190 lbs (ok 200+ after Thanksgiving).
